René Koelewijn appointed new managing director of Maasland Group
On 1 January 2026, René Koelewijn (53) will take up the position of Managing Director of Maasland Group. With his extensive experience in the hardware and access technology sector, he will play an important role in the further growth and professionalisation of the organisation. Koelewijn has been active in the industry for more than 30 years and has held various commercial and managerial positions at companies including Isero and Assa Abloy. His extensive knowledge of the market and product range, combined with his proven leadership qualities, fit seamlessly with the strategic ambitions of Maasland Group.

Hs-pas, which started as B.M. Gelton Electronics, has over 50 years of experience in access control, parking and security systems. hs-pas has grown from a product supplier to a system integrator, offering total solutions that transform the world of security and access.

The acquisition of hs-pas adds the 10th entity to the group.
New business manager Belgium
Effective January 1, 2023, Mr. Tim Grymonprez will start as business manager at our facility in Belgium.
